Hey guys, does anybody here know how the standings positions are judged when points are tied?
I'm in 9th place tied with the guy in 8th place on 53pts. I however have 17 wins to his 15, and have a +11 goal differential to his +13. Why is he in 8th and not me???

As i know
1. points, if equal, go to point 2
2. GD, if equal, go to point 3
3. goals for, if equal, go to point 4
4. (?) no. of win matches
But i am not sure. (guide?)

From guide:
"If two or more teams are tied on points at the end of the regular season, the ranking is decided by the better goal difference (goals for minus goals against). If the teams are still tied, the other tie breaking criteria are higher number of goals scored and finally higher overall team rating."

Yep, the race for that elusive 8th spot is heating up.

I know. I've done my research, and if they'd not compressed all the people out of the top leagues and filled the top league with people from the lower ones that normally would not have been promoted, i'd currently be in the top 4. Hopefully they wont do that shit again 
That said... in season 1 i finished the season in 8th spot, and then went on to win the playoffs, so hey, who knows

Not clear on what you're saying there.
The teams in other world leagues and in Turkey's league were repositioned to leagues when the 3rd season started because top leagues were full of nonames. So teams from 2nd division were manually moved to the 1st division.
So no promotional round?
I think the promotional rounds were played and then inactive teams were removed and they were replaced by active teams.

The promotional rounds were played as normal and then they removed all the nonames and manually moved up a bunch of players from div 2 etc to fill those spots. Essentially ensured the div 1 leagues was 100% real people.
