Opps, basically, how do I get around this? I'm not likely the idea of paying more to the "association". Or should this go in the suggestion area? (hey, 2 questions now.....

there are some answers. One thing (you can still suggest it, it doesn't hurt) but I don't think they are going to change the system. People have proposed some pretty good ideas and all have been shot down.
So the question is how do you best work within the system. (And what I will may not the best way, but its what I do)
First only pull players that you think will be useful or marketable.
Second, don't be afraid to fire someone who is costing you more to keep than they will sell for. Search for similar players on the market and see what they are selling for. Look at his training improvement and see how long it will take to get him to the point of making money. Some guys, especially if you are carrying more than 40, may not be worth the cost. Cut your losses and ditch them.
Third, until you are pushing the 50% mark, the percentage raise isn't really a big deal. But work it. Sell more valuable guys first to get the lower percentage on the higher dollar value. Then take the bigger losses on players you wont make that much on anyway.
lastly, at one point I had visions of grandeur making all this money on the market. It never happened. I've made some decent money, yes, but maybe focus on making more money on fewer players, rather than less money on more players.

Well, if they didn't put any limit on the profits from selling players, trust me, there would be traders that would profit enormously and you would never be able to catch them. You have quite many players, but how many of them have important qualities <50? Why would you keep (or even pull) this kind of players? And don't worry about the daily cost of holding >40 players - I believe it's ridiculously low in your case. I only pay 20k a day which can be easily covered by 1 decent sale per season.
Agreed, the system makes it necessary for us to sell players, and by selling them we are charged a higher fee. I believe this has been mentioned in the past, but not sure if anything was done about it.
Thanks nsblues - good point about selling players earlier. As a question - where can I look to see what my "selling rating" is? that way when the percentage gets big, I can hold off a bit - or sell lower quality players.
When you start a sale, the prompt will come up saying what the fee percentage will be, and then you have to say yes/no there before the sale is finalized.
This is not always the fee. It will say 5% if you have 9 sales in the past 112 days. If you put up a whole bunch of players it will say 5% fee for each. But when the players sell their fee will go up as you exceed the 10 or 11 in the 112 days. Or so I think. I went through this last season.
i have a question and thats why is there a shootout lineup and games that go past 60 minutes and OT just end without a shootout?
For the play-offs and play-off-format credit tournaments.
The better question is why playoff games are decided by a shootout at all. Let 'em play it out! I want to see players with energies of 15/85 after a 4OT game! Cancel practice tomorrow Coach!
Because that's the way it is in Europe and this game is made in Slovakia.
