Taking their shots at me, trying to keep me out of the playoffs! I'll get my revenge...
Lol. Not just you though, saw some other games with high and VH settings.
To each their own. I mean, in the end, my energy may be comparable after deep NC and ChL runs. I also don't have the depth I used to so I can't rotate players.
Yeah, my guys are down to 88-90 energy already... There's a cost to staying in first place!
I figured this run wouldn't last, I usually reel it back against teams I know I can't beat, or field a roster of entirely kids and play them VH to collect exp and keep my tactics %s up.
I have a string of those coming up, actually. Wee!

Check out my game today. Took a late-game goal to secure a win, where shots were 56-18, more than 3:1.
Oh, I've had these too. If I win in the end I try not to complain about it too much xD I've won 3-2 or 2-1 with double the OR from the other team, winning on tactics and receiving 8-12 shots total more times than I care to remember.
I know down the line it's RNG and that can really go any direction, but I swear there is a correlation between the chance to score being higher and the more time between shots or the further behind on shots a team is.

I think that's a statistical effect. If you have a 10% chance to score, it will seem more "random" when you have 1 in 5 as opposed to 2 in 10. The other thing to remember, and this is likely a big effect, is goalie confidence. If you pelt 20 shots at a goalie in the first and he surrenders 0-1, he'll be even better in the second. If you only give up a couple shots, and your goalie surrenders a goal, he'll be weaker in the next frame. This is an unintended side-effect of the goalie confidence function.
He may have missed the part where I said:
"Sooner or later, every Stealers opponent will say " Those ?$%#ers stole that game from me!!"

I picked up a halfway decent 5/6 LW prospect yesterday, but had to let him go because I don't have the roster space:
Stacy Penner
unscouted offensive Qs (i'm usually within 95% accuracy):
84/74/73/86/91 (average 73)
89/65/70/62/65
OR 418
He just trained for 1.64 in offense. If I compare with my other guys it's on par with his CL and quality.
Khalid Faucher may also be up for grabs soon, btw.

Pretty much same situation here. hockey.powerplaymanager.c... Archie Keown
This season I have been particularly lucky and I have a good contingent of 15 to 6/6 players, so I don't want to spend roster space on a 5/6, but he is 397 OR already which is solid at this stage of the season.

Why didn’t you just put him on the market? Over 400 close to the start of the season. Might go for decent money
