I have no problem with the way mikpj uses the market. The players he sells are actually worth what they are.

It's when people are able to make 10 x what the average market value of the player is that's ridiculous. I don't like how that's happened in handball. I hope the basketball thing works well and is implemented in handball.

Totally agree, I don't see anything wrong with how mikpj uses the market. He pays players salary, pays for the facilities to train them, pays his fees, and puts in the time. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't make a profit on them. In professional hockey it happens all the time. Teams develop players, and if they don't need them, they trade them for other assets. Since there is no option to trade players here, he simply trades them for cash, which he can then turn into other assets.

The insanely inflated prices some people get are what ruins it.

Thanks, the energy drain will hurt hopes at a I.1 title but that's OK. Good news is that Canada will have 6 teams in the CL and CWC next season.

3 in each. Canada has moved up to 13th in the rankings of countries based on our success in the CWC and CL this season. The top 21 get an extra berth in each tournament. This bodes well for the Calgary Chinooks to make next years CWC after finishing 5th behind the big 4 in our NC.

Good for Calgary Chinooks. Reminds me of when I made the CWC. Was in div2 and could easily balance CWC and league play.

Where do you see the ranking of countries? And what place does Canada have to be to get 3 berths in Handball?
