New developer

Hello friends, I would like to announce that PowerPlay Manager has hired a new developer who will hopefully help us in faster and more efficient progress. His name is Vrato and he is a program writer. Vrato has joined us last Wednesday and we have begun with his training. We believe he can be a great help for us in the future. Welcome to the team. Unexpected troubles

Hi friends, Truly unexpected troubles occurred today through no fault of our own. Due to serious technical problems on our hockey database server we had to go back to this morning's backup from 1.30 am CET. This means that every operation which you did since this time in your hockey team will be annulled and you will have to do them again. The night calculation had to be recalculated as well and that means that you may see some differences. The day after

Hi friends, yesterday we moved to the new servers. It was a long day in the office I can tell you that. There have been some complications as you may have noticed. A whole load of new bugs appeared after the migration and we have been working on catching and eliminating them ever since we have put the game back on-line. It will take a few days for us to clear everything up. So don't be surprised if you find out that some things aren't working as they should. Moving to new servers tomorrow!

Hello friends, Tomorrow (January 21) is the big day when our work over the last month or so will come to fruition. All the game files will be copied from the test server and this will result in the game having 2 separate databases on 2 different servers. This will of course mean that we will have to turn off the game for several hours. The expected down time is from 7.00 do 12.00 CET. This may change based on how many complications we encounter during the migration. We would like to ask you for patience even if this will take longer than anticipated. Going forward with the migration

Hi friends, I have some good news for you today. The migration to multiple servers is almost ready. The programming that was needed to be done before we could go through with this has been done. Now the testing phase will start. All the changes that we have made, we made on the testing server. Our testers will now be given access to this server and their task will be to check if everything is ok and report any errors that they detect. Bid to host the World Championships

What does the future hold for PowerPlay Manager?

Hi friends, The events of the last two weeks have forced us to make major decisions, which are going to determine the future of the PowerPlay Manager project. What exactly happened? The start of the season has brought problems with server overload, which we have been fighting hard since then. Stumbling into the new season

Hi friends, Let me start with an apology for yesterday's troubles. There have been a number of outages between 6pm and 9pm CET. The server load has reached critical levels due to the fact that everybody was curious about the start of the season. We have been doing our best to solve the problems and we think we have found the problem. Gioel in particular has spent hours on the issue yesterday trying to figure this out. New season starts Monday

Hello friends, I would like to inform you that the new season starts this Monday. The calculation will start at 5.00 am CET and, as I have mentioned in one of the previous news, we will be adjusting the composition of leagues in Turkey and Other World.
