Dear friends,
welcome to the beta version of basketball, the fourth sport on PowerPlay Manager. Feel free to browser through the game and report any bugs that you find in our basketball forums. We will do our best to resolve all the issues as soon as possible so that we can restart the game soon and start the full version.
When the full version starts, you will carry over your team name and arena name. All the other things will be reset and you will be placed in a new league.

the moment that we have all been waiting for is here. The launch of the basketball beta version has been set for next Monday, June 9, 2014! The exact time of the launch is not yet known.
I would just like to specify a few important facts about the beta version that you should keep in mind. For the first 5 days of beta, you will only be able to create a team for 30 credits. After that, beta will be available for free. You will be able to create a team from the Home page, from the Sports page or by clicking a link on the top bar when it becomes available.

the day of the launch of beta version of basketball is approaching. Soon we will set an official release date. But before we do that, I would like to give you some more information about what will be new in basketball compared to other sports.
The transfer fees in basketball will be higher. The standard fee will be 5% as it is in other sports. But this fee will go up sooner, more rapidly and to a higher limit. The fee will start going up after you sell 3 players (or staff members) in the span of 70 days. It will go up by 5% after every next sale. Maximum fee will be 75%.

Many of you have said that draft is a good thing, but it happens too often and it usually does not provide the kind of players that you would want, which diminished the gameplay experience. it is with great sadness that we have to announce that Dannys, the creator of the PPM Ice Hockey World Championship trophy, passed away several weeks ago at the tender age of 40. He was a big supporter, fan of the game and frequent PPM meeting participant. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
