Hey Tyler I noticed our friendly only brought in just over 400 fans and your arena can hold just over 1k. Might want to wait on upgrading it more until you start filling out to upgrade the stands so that u don't have to deal with the higher upkeep. Just a thought.

I am starting my upgrades for seated ones instead of standing

Friendlies always bring in much fewer fans. Generally, I seem to get 1/8 the amount of money for friendlies that I get for home games (the money for friendlies is divided between both teams - it's good to get teams with big stadiums to schedule friendlies in their stadium for this reason).

Mallards Clinch Playoff Spot

After todays 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Ice Warriors the Mallards have clinched at least a playoff spot in their first season as a team! Also, after the Greens 5-1 loss to Bridgeport, The Mallards have taken a 2 game advantage in the league with only 10 games left to play in the regular season. The Mallards remaining scheduled opponents have a combined record of 141-7-6-125. If the Mallards can win 4 of their next 10, they will also clinch a top 2 spot in the playoffs. When asked about these achievements, the flocks GM had this to say, "I am proud at how we have played in our first season. being able to clinch this early and sitting only 4 wins from a top 2 spot is fantastic. We have yet to decide on our plans for the next few games, but whatever happens we are proud of our guys and how they have played this season." The flock return to action Wednesday against Ganada (10-1-2-15 34points).

A message was sent today to the rest of the league as the Raging Bulls humilated and murdered the Midland FireBirds 17-3. Félix Randus compiled a 100% save percentage with 22 shots against and 0 goals against. The Raginjg bulls had completely shut down the FireBirds until Evan Burton took the net. As a whole the Bulls shot for a wopping 45% scoring 17 goals on 38 attempts. Libor Cempírek lead the way with 6 goals on 6 shots with 2 assists. When asked to comment on his perfect double hat trick Libor had this to say, "My teamates saw I had the hot stick tonight and keep giving me good looks and I was able to find the back of the net." Chad Carr also hat a perfect hat trick with 6 assists. František Sušánka also got himself a hat trick, as well as leading the team with 7 assists. At the press conference after the game the GM had this to say, "Our first line set the tone tonight and everyone else seemed to follow. Félix did what we needed him to do and keep the Birds scoreless his entire time in goal. We ended up deciding he did his part and to give Evan some time in goal so he doesn't get rusty. Evan did a good job only keeping them to 3 goals but he put himself out of possition a few times so we've got things to work on with him. Other than that our boys are prepared to take the fight to the championship by ending the rest of the year without loosing a game."

things are looking very well! I am going to start rotating guys in and out of the lineup to give them breaks so I can have a healthier team when it comes to post season. plus I have a few pickups and plan to pick up 2-3 more players. maybe more. how about you? looks like youre going well after todays win. I am just happy to be 3 games from clinching the 1-2 seed

Good waiting for half my stands to finish the upgrade to large stand up with max so I can do the other half and put souvenir shops in. After that I'll worry about expanding my second and third lines. But yea I'm feeling awesome after those blow out humiliations.

Nice! I'm doing slow arena upgrades. I'm going to small stand up right now and my plan is to upgrade it more in the offseason

yea im gonna stick with large stad up until I can get tripple level stands. It will also give you better sponsors the bigger your arena.

With a 20,000 seat arena, your media sponsor could become equal to or larger than your general sponsor.

Ya I want to go with the gradual upgrades so I can focus on team production first and then the rest goes to the upgrades

Gonna build my team in the offseason after I get my arena set. I should be fine with just my first line for this seasons playoffs.

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers looked to hold on to their 3rd place position in League III.7 on Wednesday when they traveled to Bowling Green Ice Complex to take on the Predators in front of a crowd of 400. The Sound Tigers jumped out to an early lead just 48 seconds in through Yegor Prokofyev. Bridgeport's Milun Zvornik and BG's Tony Li would trade goals before Bridgeport 4th liners and countrymen Veniamin Zakrutkin hooked up with Maxim Kashapov to put the team up 3-1,a lead they would not relinquish. The Tigers would get contributions from up and down the line-up including Kashapov,Prokofyev(2), Zvornik(2), Zatrukin, Silberbauer, Sandberg, Horvat(2), Gehringer. Goalie Cichan Žabaroŭski made 10 saves on 15 shots in the contest.
