Correct, that means a player like Noël Deschamps will have to play to U17 one year, then U19 for 2 years before he can finally play for the NT

Interesting the top 20 - U19 players are 425+ already.

- Dwayne Michaud is already at 501!

- Barrett Dempsey would probalby be the starting C at 213cm and OR at 487.

- If the senior team dont plan to use Allen Belanger, they should think about let him for the U19. He had one of the best shot (90) while being well trained (even in pass and tec) his a great SG.

- Lots of good 17 players (18 next year) are available to be pick, meaning they will be with the team for 2years. At even strength, may worth taking 18y with potential over a 19y.

What do you think? any strategy coming from other sports in the way to manage junior teams?

Thanks I did not know that. NT managers at all levels have incentive to work together then. We are seeing way better performance from players with CHE.

Me screwed? Not so much, he will still play a prominent role on the junior teams, gain training bonus and experience. The senior team however is screwed not having him. He will be good enough next season to play for the senior team. By the time he's 18 he will be Canada best SG, which means the senior team will be 2 years without use of its best SG..oh wel

Soooo, the best thing would be to pick 18 and 19 players, except the one that won't be dropped by the senior team? If yes, we are lucky that Michaud was ignored by the NT last season lol.

Well the junior team is lucky but the senior team could of definitely used him next season, one year wait for him won't kill the senior team tho

To be honest, I'm not sure we'll be able to compete with a regular strategy over big machines like Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc.
