What does it matter really? I had ample time to plan. So did everyone else. If you want to run a camp sometime, then run it. It depends what you value more, League Cup or League.

It was announced a lot sooner than 2 weeks before the end of the season.
It was a good month or so. July 25th 2011 it was announced. They gave you 25 days notice or roughly a quarter season. Sure it was rushed. But I'd rather have it put in this season than next. Otherwise everyone'd be running camps and soccer would be dead for these two weeks.
I understand Chiz point. No it wasn't anounced 2 weeks ago but it also wasnt anounced by the 1/2 way point of the season. In my case I played to inactives back to back and could have run a camp then but the new came past that point. So instead I either ran a camp at the end of the year as originally planned or I find another stretch. I opted to run at the end of the season. Remeber guys its just his opinion and he's free to have it just like the rest of you.
If everyone is doing the same thing, there's no strategy. Adding League Cup makes for strategy as to when you take your training camps. The more decisions you have to make, the better it is for the game.
Because of "PPM's organisation process is bad. They put managers face the fact in one week that there will be a LC. But a lot of managers have another plans because they know that those weeks will be free of any matches which can give them a lot of ranking point. As addition to this as usual they produce bad code - they couldn't code without bugs. PPM will not be PPM if they will not produce bugs

They don't know if it will be ready this season or not. They wasn't 100% sure.
The July 25th message regarding the League Cup was not vague. It stated it would happen. And no where in the comment section did it leave any doubt that it would happen. Only specifics were missing.
Why in Team analysis Latest competitive matches LC's matches not presented? They are not competitive? As I understand season energy decrease as for competitive match. I didn't check. but I see how many OTR points a get for win. And it's not as friendly.
Maybe you (PPM guys) miss smth in guide? Or LC's matches is not competitive but OTR is as for competitive?
