PPM hasn't updated their to do list in a couple months, hopefully youth NTH will be a bit further along tHan 10 percent.

Part of the problem is that the average player on the senior team is only 19 and the oldest players won't be old enough for the U21 team until next year. I wouldn't be surprised if elections become available in two seasons from now to start the teams in three seasons.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the youth basketball teams don't take too long after the youth handball teams.

they don't need to start both youth teams together...

Yeah... I wouldn't be surprised if the U19 team starts either next season or the season after.

I actually developed a database for player uploads for the national teams. It's gonna be scripted through a public and private google sheet. Uploads go into the public sheet (available to all) and get imported into the private sheet available to only national team managers.

Just doing some beta testing now.

Yep. The player upload capability is pretty much complete. I just haven't added sorting features yet for the national team managers to use (there's currently no pivot tables or anything to easily sift through the data).

To be fair... the project kind of slid to the back burner when I realized that the youth teams wouldn't be kicking off this year... but if you wanted to use it for the Senior National Team, I'll try to hammer out the changes real quick.

BLEHHH... actually check that... it's gonna take a little bit more work. It seems that PPM has changed the way they code/script the player pages. So all the information that I scripted needs to be reworked to match the new format. Fucking annoying.

Okay... got most of it redone...

Luckily they just re-formated the player source code a bit... so I only had to tweak some of the LOOKUP, SEARCH, and QUERY references. Wasn't as bad as I thought it might have been.

Now I'm just trying to iron out the one last thing before I make it "public" for true beta testing.

I've gotta find a way for the data to automatically replace older data. Right now, if someone uploads the same player someone else uploaded 2, 5, or 100 days earlier... they're recorded as multiple entries. That's gonna create horrible problems for summary pages and pivot tables... so I'm trying to figure out a way to do automatic data replacement.

Hopefully I'll have a rudimentary version ready for everyone within the next couple of days.

If anyone knows how to calculate effective OR and effective AQ, I'll throw those things into the completed sheet.

This assumes that all attributes are currently trained as planned. For a pivot, I=0.

EOR:
Assume that the above letters refer to OR instead of qualities. Set irrelevant attributes to 0 (for instance, goaltending for a pivot) if you want positional EOR.

EOR = (A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H)*(1+Exp/100*.1)

You can either use the actual ratios used, or rate players based on the ratios that you would like to see (you could choose them for yourself or allow the NT manager to input the ratios, if possible).

mmm. so it's just a weighted average of sorts...?

how about CL though? how does that factor into the EQ? I imagine it's somewhat similar to the Exp effect on the EOR right?
