A packed crowd came to cheer on our boys at School Road today. In our world cup qualification match against Slovakia, we held off their skilled strikers to a single goal, and equalised soon after. Unfortunately, we went down to 10 men as our defence gave everything they had at the expense of a red card. In the end, we finished with another draw, 1:1.

However, it is still the early days of qualifying, so we'll see how it goes. It's a good result against such a highly rated team, so we are definitely competitive!

Our Aussie U17s flew to Goias, Brazil for their World Cup qualifying match against the world No.2 team. Although we gave it our all, the Brazilians dominated and we came home with a 1:0 loss.

This is a big-big surprise to us too Our country haven't been in EC for 44 years... (1972) We will play tomorrow evening against Belgium at 21:00 CET. It will be very hard match. Belgium is the 2nd in the world ranking...
