When he dropped soccer, I thought he was at least keeping hockey... R.I.P. TrueBlue...
Looks like the previous champ Sorae is also gone... Since PPM isnt being updated, high profile departures will become more common I think. Already, the leavers are exceeding new players. Numbers are down for all countries, including Czech.

Brisbane stayed active while Trublue folded already. It might be as Brisbane still had PROpack. The first time TB came back, I had a feeling that he will be gone soon.

Just FYI: I had the idea to drop for quiet some time too, hockey at least.
PPM fell asleep long while ago just hoping players will stay. It's old game, dead,without updates. Designers left for another project.

They really need to move it towards a mobile app for any chance of survival

Not really... even mobile apps need some attention! A neglected game will die regardless of the format...
I'm pretty sure the developers are chasing something completely different (and more lucrative).
I've seen small web games do really well. But they are *constantly* churning out new content, and people are therefore happy to pay for a good game and lively community.

That being said, I don't want to sound too negative. I'm still here! I still find ppm relaxing, especially basketball. 
Sad as it is that we never got our own league during the Aussie heyday, at least "Other World" keeps things more challenging! And the handful of chatting Aussies and the U17s keep me active in soccer.
