I do not think Printemps even reads this, and pretty sure Scorpion speaks french so not sure he will understand what you just said...
It won't last unfortunately.
I might win 1 of my last 8 games. I'm facing 8 of the top 9 teams, mine obviously not included, to end the season. So keeping my place in the playoffs would be nothing short of a miracle.
I'd need a lot of help just to secure 9th.

I don't know. The outlying numbers look in your favor.
We have the exact opposite final 8 games. I get all the easy teams.
Was looking at who you have left and your likelihood of beating them
Printemps unlikely
Surrey most likely no
Arctic - maybe if you get your tactics right
Atlanta - maybe, tactics will be key
Rousey - yes, unless you screw up your tactics
Posse - yes if you do your tactics well
Scorpion noir - maybe, tactics will be key
You really have to watch the energy level of your players though and your team. Playing high against my team was not IMO that wise (I would have played my team LOW based on your lineup). I know I have to rest my guys so that I can deal with Surrey in the playoffs, but unlike Surrey I only have so many players (5 players over the minimum for 4 lines at the moment). He has a bunch he can sub in for games he should win (I think two 4 line teams if my memory serves me right, not sure all I care about is his top bunch to be honest). I do not have that luxury though meaning my best are on the ice regardless. I get going high against my team but as you saw did not work. I cannot risk to go super low in the event I do screw up and you win as it effects my future attendance hence why I just went low.
Make sure you use the 5 free exhibitions to see where your players are in terms of skill now that the playoffs are nearing. Personally if I was you I would go for broke with the playoffs (trying to make them then so you get top 8 and then suck at them vs getting 9th overall).
In terms of why I think the way I do for your opponents above.
Printemps usually go NORMAL for all their games and will probably do so for you, but I do not see you beating them even on super high and with max 100% in your strats (even if your strats beat him).
Surrey cannot afford to lose a game else they are 3rd and have to deal with 6th, though more importantly, they let Printemps get home advantage if both win 1st round, so I figure unless Surrey gambles with young players I cannot see you beating them.
Arctic looks to go all normal for tactics, something if you plan right you can overcome, same with Atlanta
Rousey is the opposite, they plan, just they have no one save 3 players, so ensure you prepare for them well else you could lose an easy 3
Posse and Noir are a question mark for me in truth. I figure noir wants to do well in the playoffs and so will coast into them. Posse however has improved his team well so unsure what to make of them...

Rousey is the one I expect to have a good chance at. Our last game was 1-0 in their favour, so I know it's a pretty close match.
I know that I could go easy for a couple of these games, and save my team's energy. But I don't think my team is really built to make the push into the playoffs just yet. Close, but not quite there.
I'm not really looking for a winner right now. I'm more content to just ease my way up, build with more of an eye towards the future, and make small immediate improvements as I go.

Cool, personally I would try and push for the playoffs if I were you just for the extra cash, lol That said I understand your direction based on your lineup as it is questionable whether even if you did take my approach you would make it. Either way, your team will be a force to contend with in time, hence another reason why I am out of this division (assuming Printemps or Surrey don't ruin my plans, lol)
I'm going for it this season, though suspect I will return here or another tier 3 division the following one...
Wow... My fourth line and my backup goalie literally stole a game from the Knights today.
Maybe my team can find a way into the playoffs if they can steal another game.
