Wow. Difference of goaltending determined my game today. Both teams with 37 shots apiece, but the score ended up 8-1.

Wow. Don't blame the goalie. Maybe check your shooting. Or wait, is your forecheck shoot the puck on the goalie from the redline? My former team used to play that. We'd outshoot them 45-30 every game, but scoring chances were 20-4 in their favour.

ha ha ha... Such bad times to be a hockey fan, Flames aren't making the playoffs, and I get beat around by a French team.
By the way, yes, my forecheck is to shoot right at the red line, in the hopes that the opposing goalie might predict a dump-in and move out of the net to get to the puck first, while the puck is sneaking its way to goal. It didn't work this time, you smart French people!

Where is the same of being beatten by a french team?

To be honest, I wish the flames missed the playoffs completely so that they get as high of a draft pick as possible. All of these years of missing the playoffs by a couple points are doing the team no good in terms of youth intake.
It's mostly because the Flames' scouting staff is one of the worst in the league. The Habs have better prospects and they usually finish above the Flames.
Sounds like the Leafs. Never making the playoffs, and always out of a good pick. When they have a good pick it's traded away!
Sadly, I agree. Although the Flames' picks in 2010 are considered to be the best job they've every done in decades. It's been getting better.
@canucks: it's why I have to love this game

As long as he doesn't go to the Oilers and rot, I'll be happy to see him as a Canadien.
It's funny though, he's the same age as me and it will be quite depressing seeing these guys in the same age getting drafted by NHL teams, which makes me wonder what the hell I did with my life
