NT thread is right here, canucks..
And yeah I found it funny that we actually raised our importance in the third while we were up 2-1 and ended up losing...
Oh well, tough draw with Latvia, should be a great one.

I've been away for awhile but I am very pleased with my guys.
Only Montreal has hot Strippers not Canada. Our girls don't have beards or harry armpits.
We had a tough draw. TMO did an excellent job this season. Was a pleasure working along side him and the others involved in this season's team.
a bit of a regret in using wrong tactics
but yes like a couple have said, great work this year nonetheless

Tactics are always a game. We played DEF a lot in the tournament. We had evidence to support what they may play and went with AF as offensive would have been a gamble by them. Even if they did go Offensive we were confident in our goalie. In the end, we sat atop the table - a fine achievement for this small PPM nation.
It was a really enjoyable season.
On one hand, I'm happy with the result. A top 8 finish for us is nothing to be ashamed about. We competed hard against the PPM powerhouse countries and pulled off a couple upsets along the way.
On the other hand, I feel like we wasted a great opportunity to medal. The early wins in tournament enabled us to conserve a lot of energy in the first two rounds. This luxury allowed us to 'catch up' to some of the stronger nations. Going into the Latvia game, I felt like we had one more upset in the making. Unfourtunately, we fell short.
I would like to thank the many managers that helped along the way. It starts with saint2e who left me a great group of players with existing NT chemistry. canucks357 for helping select the initial roster, and all his help throughout the WC. The contributions from the assistants that were used during the exhibition season. There were two managers that left their best players out their promotional round games so that they could play with full energy for Team Canada. And the managers that I consulted with throughout the season via the forum and PMs.
Thank you for the opportunity and I look forward to next season's Team Canada.
