Good luck today, Chobo I still haven't answered most of the questions I posted on Tuesday. The whole chem/exp vs better players has me confused. I personally think chem/exp is a huge plus, but the only goal scored on Tuesday was by two of my less experienced d-men with less than 50 chem total.
The one question I did answer was the last one. The loss made me so depressed that I had to spend $700,000 on two players who won't even be playing in this game=) The expensive one is the type of player I don't usually buy because his secondary Qs are pretty low. The other guy I bought is injured for 16 more days He looks like a pretty good player for only 200K, but he's another LD. I have thousands of good LD, but only 2 decent RD.
And the NY Foresters look like a very good team. The whole line-up might be over 200OR, including his goalies. One of us might be stuck here another season...

Good luck to you today too ...I was agonizing over my lineup as well, because of the first result on your home ice. Decided to give up on exp/chem for a few newer but better players. We shall see how that goes. I'm surprised that Foresters ended up where he is at, considering in the regular season he finished 10th. His team would probably dominate mine. @_@
Shit.
I mean, Congratulations
What a horrible collapse that was. My goalie really crapped the bed in the second half. He gave up 4 goals on your last 10 or 11 shots. I don't think he's ever done that poorly.
Silver lining? I get to boost my OTR next season. Yeah. It's a very dull silver.

Seriously, congratulation chobo on a well played series, and a really tough loss for tujague.
Also nicely played, Ice Blazers. Shows I still have a ways to go to be competitive.

I just sold 3 or 4 of them this week!
With the bonus money for finishing second and the 680K from the game, I had just enough to build Training-8. It costs 5.1M, and I am left with 81K. Might not have been the best thing to do right now, but I certainly couldn't trust myself with that much money and 10 days of nothing to do but spend it.

Thanks guys, that was one game for the ages for sure. I still can't believe how the game ended, what a time for your keeper to have a bad third period. You still have a good shot at promotion though, I'll be rooting for ya
No promotion for me. I sent everyone to camp=) I'm just going to make the most of the situation. I'll be able to build my OTR up to 250+, and if I manage to promote next season, I think I'll be in a better position to actually compete.
Or so I've been telling myself since about 11:30 this morning

Watch you win that series somehow lol. I am trying to figure out a new plan of action, because with the team as it is now, I don't believe I will be too competitive at least in the early part of the season. All those teams have at least one player at 200 and I don't (yet). Guess I will be spending lots of money in the near future lol.
With the team you have, I think you will at least be able to promote next season (if not next week ).
It would be rather humorous though if next season you were runner up and had to face me to promote. Revenge of the Bomb!

Welp. I'm back in III.1 next season. I had 11 guys at camp, but the scrubs actually played a good game 1. Lost in the 9th round of the shootout. So I tried my best to win game 2 with the players I had. I did a lot of good things, but still lost 0-5. That's disappointing even though I didn't really want to win.
Very sad, I fully expected you to promote this season. Your average AR is too good for III.1.
So you'll spend another season at the top of III.1 and hope the playoff gods are more forgiving next season. At least its a chance to pad your OTR.

Heck I expected it as well. Good luck next season, I hope to see you guys in II next season...I hope I can last a season lol.
