Hey, why not? An issue i see with doing that might be the draft. But that could be corrected by making it that any player that is picked by either country, then that player automatically assumes that nationality. I just dont know if there would be any real benefit for either country though. I'm sure one of the legends in here could pick this apart in no time. But i do like the idea of more active teams per Div.
while i would like to keep the current north american leagues as they are, i'd like ppm to add a separate north american league for north american countries (and for other countries and their respective continents too)
in a way, maybe ppm can set it up so that ppm players participate both in 'intranational leagues' (the current system) and 'intracontinental leagues' (a league dedicated to a whole continent)

Well heres an idea thats sure to spark conflict.
To spice things up a bit and add a bit of a daily random opportunity to everyone...i propose a "Spin & win". This would resemble a slot machine, you get one spin per day.
Prizes could range from random credit amounts. Maybe a bonus training period of time for one player. Credits. Pro pack. or any other option available under a pro pack for a limited time.
Also, what i personally like the best, you get a daily opportunity to win what i'd call a "lottery" ticket, no guarantees everyone will receive one, purely random. All Lottery tickets are combined at the end of the month for one drawing, this could be done globally or per country. The winner receives a healthy prize in the form of money (not real money). So if you're a 4 team manager, you increase your odds x4.
This also helps encourage daily log ins and hopefully keep people more actively involved or entice newer players to stick around long enough to understand the game and become a part of the community.
Yes?
No?
I prefer Bacon?

So what you're saying is....
I prefer Canadian Bacon.
I never said it was a good idea..just an idea.

I like the idea of making it two separate leagues, but what days would they play on? National Cup takes up Tuesdays, Cup Winners Cup & Champions League take up Thursdays... That only leaves Saturdays & Sundays. And makes for very busy weeks for truly elite teams.
Prefer bacon. I mean there is nothing to lose and everything to gain. You could make it where you can lose money to. Risk VS Reward?
maybe they can organize it so that intracontinental leagues would play on sat and sun? as far as promotion and relegation goes, we can set up so that it's 2nd seed vs 3rd seed for the finals spot, and the 1st seed vs 4th seed. this way, teams would have an extra week reserved for regular season (to account for 2 games/week). maybe they can have the regular season + post season play until day 105? they would have to reduce the number of teams in a league to have each teams play twice against other teams
or they could just as well increase the number of teams in a league and the teams would only play once against other teams with no home ice advantage
every team would play mon, wed, fri, sat, and sun. tues would be reserved for national cup while thurs would be reserved for cl/cwc
sure we'll suffer from increased energy loss, but every team would be affected
in a way, cl and cwc is our current forms of international league, but this new intracontinental league would be available for all teams within a respective continent

I could see for football and hockey due to the number of open days, but basketball and handball is tight and would affect camps
yes, i meant to say canadian bacon. every time you log in (up to once per day), you get a bacon point from ppm. once you reach x number of bacon points, you can order bacon from ppm
now wouldn't this be great
now wouldn't this be great
I was thinking the same thing. On the other hand it would make camp planning much more strategic though, right?
That it would.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but at one time wasn't PPM discussing creating a second hockey "world" so to speak? They could always do that, then players would have the option of joining either the National or Continental world (or both).
I'm not a programming expert by any means, but I would think that would be quicker and easier to program than an entire new sport since you'd basically be copying the existing game engine.

I think I might've mentioned this before... but it'd be awesome to have a "subscription" feature for credit purchases.
It costs 1088 credits for a 12 months of propacks in all four sports. That works out to roughly 7 EUR/month. But if you have to buy them in blocks (the current setup), it kind of sucks (it would end up being like $130 USD or something like that). That sort of lump sum payment much harder to stomach.
I only have a propack in one sport right now, because (quite frankly), I can't justify such large payments to buy propacks. If I had a subscription option though, I'd probably have propacks for all four sports, because the "pain" is more spread out and less noticeable.
Really I suggest this because I don't understand the reason it doesn't already exist. I have to imagine that PPM is leaving a TON of money on the table by not having this as an option (notice I said "option" ... I wouldn't want the subscription to be the only way to get credits, but it'd be a nice option at least).
