Oh, that's cool. I'll start working on the Latvians.
I saw you wanted to scout the Canadians so I picked some from that list. I'll hold off on the Germans, Slovaks and English for now.
Thanks everyone. For those that don't know, the end of season NT Cup will be in 3 groups of 16, with the 2 lowest ranked NTs not participating. As of right now, we would be in the top group.
So that happens at the end of this season? How does that work? Because right now the tournament page for the qualifiers lists 14 game days scheduled, going until March 2012, which would be the end of next season. I guess they just do the seeding for the NT Cup based on where we are in our qualifying group at the end of this season?
The 7 games at the end of this season are for the NT Cup. From what I've seen, it'll be based on the ranking of countries (International -> Ranking of Countries).
The qualification matches are only for the World Cup (which isn't the same as the NT Cup), which will be at the end of next season.

He has a very good chance of making the team, as a prospect. He's been on the short list to be added to the team for a while now.
At this point, we won't be adding players to the team unless they'll be on the roster for the next match. At some point today I'll see what we have available for tomorrow and see if it'd be worthwhile to add another prospect to the roster for tomorrow's match.

Considering their team stregth, we did a great job holding them to 1 goal. Nice goal keeping, 7 saves!
I was out of town for the weekend and checking in on PPM via my phone for the most part or I probably would have commented earlier.
Lynch did well (man of the match), but our offense didn't get a shot on goal. While we had some key players out of the match due to camps or suspensions, we were able to keep it close. I would've liked to pick up a point, but that's not how it worked out. Latvia has a very good team and we were on the road, we'll get another chance at them in a home match next season.
Next up is a friendly against Canada, followed by 3 more WC qualification matches. Also, I'd like to thank the teams that have run both of their camps already. That makes planning for the NT Cup a lot easier.

Glad I can help with the camps being out of the way!
The assistant position has been rotated again, this time to Blackkat. Rayvok did a magnificent job in his time as assistant and will have another round at the position sometime this season or next.
We have two more friendly matches this season. One on Saturday and then one the day before the NT Cup starts.
