We've all been there; seeing a great player on another team knowing eventually they'll find their way on the market. Perhaps the team is going to be inactive soon. Perhaps the manager has said they'll be selling sometime. Whatever the reason, it can be a pain keeping tabs on all of these players. Well, it now just became much easier.

I created a tool for public use that will do just this. What you can do is go to the form linked below, and fill out the three fields - they should be pretty self explanatory.

SUBMISSION FORM

Every night at 00:05 EDT the script will run and look to see if any of the players submitted are available for bids (For Sale, Free Agent, On the Market etc.) and if so will send you an email. The email will contain a link to the player as well as his market status to be concise and save you the time of looking them back up on PPM. (Note, the link provided will take you to the English version of the player's page.) This email will be logged as to avoid duplicate emails that would arise each day the player is on the market. However, this means you'll only receive one email for the player. It is important to make sure to filter messages from ppm.score.update[at]gmail.com away from your spam folder. The email notifications have a tendency to be filtered into spam due to their automated nature and smtp composition.

If you do not win the bid and still want to be notified of the player's return to the market sometime down the line, you will need to personally request this from me as you will not get a message unless you do. Please feel free to test it with current players on the market, free agents and players for sale. Let me know if you notice any issues with the script and, at least initially, if it works! There is, after all, only so much testing one person can do.
