and also i am afraid it will be a bit "tough" to change match importance without having Pro pack as game is in the same day with few hours of difference between the league matches.

If everyone plays the same it doesn't make a difference.

looks like there is 12 hour difference between tournament and league games. (at least in america)

For some reason when i looked yesterday i had the impression it was like only 5 hours making it more difficult to switch level of intensity.

There may not even be importance since energy is not lost... in which case everyone playing VVL would be the league-game parallel.

i get that. i was just suggesting something that people most likely will play as if someone forgets to switch it would not affect much ...

eg: if someone that plays league at high and forget to turn to VL will affect more than from high to normal.

cases where people forget (or no time for) to switch importance

1. Most people playing Very Low in the league
- setting tournament as VL has no affect
- setting tournament as Normal has +2 affect

2. Most people playing Low in the league
- setting tournament as VL has -1 affect
- setting tournament as Normal has +1 affect

3. Most people playing Normal in the league
- setting tournament as VL has -2 affect
- setting tournament as Normal has no affect

4. Most people playing High in the league
- setting tournament as VL has -3 affect
- setting tournament as Normal has +1 affect

5. Most people playing Very High in the league
- setting tournament as VL has -4 affect
- setting tournament as Normal has +2 affect


I'd assume most will play normal while some low and some high. Very few will play VH and only those on low leagues with noname teams in the league will likely play VL.

SO, IMO, since there is no energy cost, it could be better play in Normal as it minimizes affects case people forget (or no time) to change intensity.

But that is just my opinion,i hope we all are able to set the match intensity correctly for the tournament as i am greatly interested in studying tactics to add to the database software i am creating for hockey.

Importance is relative. Playing N-N will have no impact when compared to playing VL-VL.

i get that. if you check my cases, i am considering someone plays N in league games and do not change if for the tournament and thus it will be a N-VL tournament match and thus it would have impact...

Excluding the fact there is NO importance level in credit tournies in which case it is like playing N-N and L-L and H-H etc. without the energy loss.

so if one plays VH and the other plays VL they will actually playing at the same level?

In hockey/soccer it is just like a friendly game. But handball is different since you can play 2 per day (league or friendly and tourney) vs 1 per day in the other two (league or friendly or tourney).

just read the rules ... "That means that the match importance setting has no influence in these matches"

How that is implemented is what I'm unsure of.

well. it sure makes our lives easier to learn the tactics

dont know how you guys are going to do, but barring injuries, i plan to play the same players but change tactics one thing at a time just like i did in the beta test period.
