It seems that my B rated player has 340 OR with 3.5 stars. I also seem to have been given a second player with 250 OR and 2 stars (better than nothing, though I would prefer to have had the option to choose the player I got to draft when I actually showed up).

All of Ted Keenan 's pre-scouted qualities are above 85 except for SPD and AGR (which are showing up in the low 60s).

Dude looks like he would've been a sick goalie. The average of his prescouted goalie qualities (GOA, BLK, PAS, TEC, SPD) is 86.2, and that includes a SPD quality of 60.

His current skill isn't built to be a goalie though, so if I went that way with him, I'd be throwing away 160 of his current OR.



We'll see what his scouted Qs come in at. I'm pretty excited about him though. It's my first ever 400+ OR pull, it came at an awesome time (1st day of the season), and looks to be a darn good one.

Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't actually address anything (no response in the bug thread, nothing).

They just put a band-aid on it, and hoped no one noticed.

My 23 year old player with an EQ of 81.4 has an OR of 400 (+50 experience) and still has a CL of 4 at 23. I wonder if he could turn out to be one of the best players still around since day 1 of season 1. He is still one of my top 3 backs and might continue to be so for a while.

Derek Goldsmith had the 2nd best AQ in the US (88) last I looked. He's 424 OR... and while his exp isnt as high as your guy, is still very good for a grey-beard.

It looks like we have the beginnings of a 23 and over all star team.

I'm happy to see my team start the season in second place in team strength (and still competitive with league I.1 teams). My team strength could fall to as low as 44 though depending on whether I decide to replace some of my older players with prospects. I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Fatty Cats catch up after the end of their camp.

The Cunning Procrastinators look like the favorite (and at this point, good sports academy pulls will probably not help anyone catch up in the short run). After that, Cataclysm/Quadriplegics/Doppelgangers will probably compete for 2nd (with all of them probably good enough to be competitive in the promotion round). Of course, Team USA and the Microwave Repairmen both probably have a higher overall net worth which can eventually translate into becoming competitive in time. Most of the remainder of the teams are close enough that they can be comptetive with some luck and/or a good acquisition or two. Good luck to everyone.

Ted Keenan is looking like he might be even better than he looks? He's rated 19th in the country in AQ in the "top" list.

That would put him somewhere around the mid 80s in AQ (whereas I see him as high 70s right now).

Big Fatty Cats AND Microwave Repairmen are both still in camp.

I believe MR ran 2 consecutive camps at season's end, so I fully anticipate him doing VERY well this season (top 4 finish if he wants it).

His team looks to be every bit as good as the best teams in our league.

Team USA does need to reboot a little bit, and will probably focus on rebuilding for the next couple of seasons before re-emerging as a powerhouse.

Don't be too suprised if by the end of next season I only have an average team by comparison. 4 of my top 6 guys and starters dropped in CL including my beloved prodigy Webb Densmore with a 438 OR at the tender age of 15. *sniff sniff*

He's got an 83.77 EQ for the ratios I plan to train him at pivot. It's too bad I'm focused on building the arena right now and he's gotta put up with a level 10 TF for a couple of seasons.

I spose I could sell him and use the money to build the arena faster, but screw that - I want to have an actual good player on my team for a change.

Ted Keenan came out as 85AQ. Looks to be a crazy good RB or Goa by qualities.

... And he promptly got injured. For ten days... on his 2nd day as a professional.

That would explain why I won on the road vs Repairmen while he was playing VH.
