I really... really hate the market sometimes. I've made bids on no less than 7 physiotherapists in the past 2 weeks, and each time I lose by 10,000 because someone snakes the auction at the last second.

I don't mind losing by a few million. Whatever. But when you lose by exactly 10,000 time and time and time again, it's seriously the most annoying thing ever.

I've hated the market all along - it's crazy that in a global game they put in a mechanism that demands real-time attendance. It virtually guarantees that people in the lowest represented time zones are going to be screwed.

When all the players you want to buy are selling at a time you can't possibly be online, it really kills the motivation to try to build a high level team.

I know people have complained about drafts before... but I've scouted literally all but 4 of the draftees, and I've found only 8 players that are Bs and zero As or A+s.

That means that there's not even enough Bs for each team in the division to get 1 each!! And Bs aren't even that good to start with.

I've complained before, but I'm just honestly stunned this time around.

There is an A+ in D1, and about 10 B's and ive only get to scout about 60%

It seems to me that there tends to be more A's and A+'s in hockey.

I'm seeing 1 A and 8 B's out of 81 players scouted, so yeah, it's pretty bad.

I was really hoping the draft would be like how it was first implemented, with more than enough A's for everybody to get one, thus ensuring at least one or two good youth pickups per season for each team. But too many people complained about losing out on their weekly slot-machine-with-terrible-win-rates (AKA Sports Academy pulls), so we end up with the current incarnation where it's only useful for the first two seasons and then huge waste of time afterward.

I think that's probably a function of hockey only requiring high values in 3 stat categories to constitute an A or A+ rating.

Yeah... honestly, I find myself wondering "what's the point of even having the seeding the way it is?"

Because seriously... even if you have a poor season and get a high draft choice as a result... what good does it do you if you're just selecting from a bunch of guys who will end up around 72% AvQ?

Yeah... that'll help turn the old franchise around. *eyeroll*

I don't remember if I had Vogel as one of the two A's I found, but he turned out to have 414 OR, 6/6 CL, and 83 AVQ (with great qualities to be an offensive back). He has the highest AVQ on my team.

I find that strange.

I didn't have any of the guys scouted as As. And none showed up as As post draft either. Yet Scott Serna looks like an A rated player too.

I'm wondering what's going on with my scouting, because he showed up as a "B" and then showed up as only 3.5 stars, yet now is unscouted 82 AvQ?

Very strange considering that my HR Facility is nearly maxed out and my Managers are both 200 OR?

I'm at a complete loss as to why my team did so badly today against the Hanover Fisters. They were in camp, and I dwarfed their ratings for GOA, OFF, DEF, and SHO. I played on Normal, they played on Very Low. Yet we were tied at the half.

Seriously... wtf sort of black magic was going on today?

Here we are in the 11th season of handball, and I finally pulled a star wing prospect: David Allen .

I have been dying to get a decent AQ, decent CL, American-born winger for some time now. Glad all the waiting finally paid off. Now if I can just get a decent AQ pivot, all my dreams will have come true...

I am done with handball and basketball. Don't really have the time for all 4 sports, and those are the two I understand the least from a PPM perspective. I put most of my players on the market. If you want any of the others that aren't, just send me a message and I'll throw them on there as well.
