What an odd game. Your starting team strengths are almost exactly the same in that game, and you played H-H vs. his L-N. Either you did some crazy substitutions somewhere in there, or you got shafted.
I'm starting to think that the difference between low, normal, and high is not that much (in terms of in-game significance).
I personally notice a big difference when I play very low or when teams play very high against me (even with no-name teams)... but the differences between low, normal, and high, seem to be rather insignificant sometimes. I've actually lost games that I was winning at the half where the only change made was me going from L to N.

i'd probably sell my soul to draft a goalie like that ...
I'm glad that you suggested that...
Would you be willing to trade a 230+ OR wing for a goaltender?
In any case, his unscouted qualities are 60-91-74, and his attributes are 36-31-28; not an all-star, but he should be a solid 2nd or 3rd goaltender.
The other goaltender I pulled a few weeks ago is 78-71-60 and 50-33-25 (he is now my starter).
I also have the 16 year old I bought last season who is 77-68-55 and 54-29-25.
None of them are probably worth a spot on the national team, but they are good enough at this point.
I can finally try to sell the great older goaltender that I started out with - hopefully he is still worth something at this point.

goalies are coming cheaper now, although they still sell for tons of money.
My starter (just placed him to start) i bought for 6M+
his unscouted were 90-95-95
came out he was not that great but still pretty good: 68-83-83
his other bigger issue is that most of his points are in pass so i need to train him to be a full starter: 42-35-51
he will be a fast break freak lol
all my other goalies qualities are sooo low they are just in the team for short term

I am still hoping to draft a NT quality before the regular season is over. I have not pulled any goalie so far!!!!
he is 22 yo, 3/6 and unlikely much better attributes than my current players. 2M is a lot for a player who will likely stall and not useful past this season.
Matteo Marinoni 20yo 5/6 OR 165, for example, has 44, 30, 18. Not great, but cost me 20k to be a backup. and unscouted qualities 83, 70, 60
he will likely soon past yours as he is 5/6 and not too bad qualities.
