Football has 3 changes and handball no limit...

In real football, you are alloved to do 3 (sometimes more) substitutions per match.
In real handball you are alloved to substitute how many players you want from nomination, how many times you want. So your example is not correct.
For example in real American football you can change offensive and defensive formations exactly like here in handball. It differs from sport to sport.

If in real football was no limit on substitution, then yes, I would like to have possibility to change offensive and defensive formations.

If soccer became a sport where infinite subs were allowed, it would become more dynamic, chaotic and less interesting to play, but almost certainly more interesting to watch. Although I´m a traditional guy... so I dear to say it would become another sport.

I don't know, but this football substitution example may not be the best one, and also kind of misleading...

But I can make the following probably more fitting example: In football you are allowed to use 10 defenders (or 10 forwards, or some other 'weird' line-up). Yet you would scarcely win anything with this, so no serious coach would play like that in RL.
At the beginning of PPM-football it became obvious that 'weird' line-ups could be too successful, which was unrealistic. So the more 'weird' line-ups were penalized after some seasons...

I think 14 player game is much better than 7 player game, but realistic is something between. Maybe be there should be some penalty to using minimum or maximum amount of players.

In ppm hockey using 3 lines gives better results than 4 lines. Should they give penalty for using 3 lines, because it's not used in real hockey?

There is a penalty for using 3 lines in hockey: the energy burns faster.

That's not penalty while playing very low, because chemistry and experience grows faster.

In real handball you can use 14 players if you want, it depends on the strategy of the opposing team, your energy, the match result ... for example. But no team has two alignments, one to attack and one to defense.
Real teams usually have one or two players (usually in central defense positions) that change, but no more, because if you change all players, when you make changes the opposing team has no opposition to attack because the time not stop. That should be reflected here

And my opinion is.... if you play with 7 transition changes, you'll have a great problem if your opponent use his tactics wisely

I can understand both sides and their pros and cons. But in the end there is the fact that it is completly unrealistic and not used by any rl-team. And since ppm wants to try to make games as realistic as a game engine can possibly be they should have no other choice than to chance it.
