Yeah, but the one that develope PPM-Handboll are not avare of that, so they call them Pivots.

I think it's easier if I call them the same thing as the developers

If you try put up a formation in the defence here on PPM you will see the abbreviation on the right (Just before the players name) is exactly the same on the offence as the defence line-up.

How do you train your players? Like in hockey is 2-1-1, is here some like that?

are my players counted as wings, pivots and backs when playing defence and therefore need to be trained accordingly or are they all backs when playing defence or something else?

If they are counted as wings, pivots and backs in each of the formations which ones are which and where do they need to be played on the 5/1 formation which is the only one we can set our lineup for?

I have worked out how I am going to generally train my team to suit my strategy but my issue I have is this Offence/Defence lineup option is there someone able to explain if we can have a entire different defence to our offence?? If we can this will greatly change the training of players having specialist blockers and specialist shooters rather then all rounders???

Yes, you can 12 different players in offence and defence

I understand you can have different defenders to the offence but is the game engine actually going to be assuming the entire team will swap every time the ball goes into defence o_0 clearly in a real game this does not happen so wondering if the game engine is going to simply differ or not??? If it is going to allow changing of whole team between defence and offence then that is firstly not logical and if so I have to change strategy to have a whole squad of guys with high blocking to interchange between my offensive squad. Has anyone experimented with this and noticed the whole team does change???? I am tending to lean on the fact that all though you can have a completely different defensive squad it just wont work out ie. it will be a detriment and you are better off having same six in offense as defence.

Yes I know that. I mean how much I have to train additional skills against main skill? Like in hockey if goaltenting is 100 then passing and tehinque will be at 50. I hopw you understand now.

thats only what people have found seems to work best in hockey. Handball is new - people will need to work it out too. You could also try doing that.

I think it's much harder in handball than footbal though, like the individuall rating-system much more

I sincerely thought that in defensive line D4 position will be for the Central Back and D5 will be for the Pivot. Am I wrong?

Can you explain what positions is A1, A2, A3 ... just like with D? I don't understand anything from Handball, this could really help.
