I have seriously messed up this season somehow. Usually in football my plan is to play low energy for first half, and high energy second so I win a load of games that way. Didn't work with Handball at all. Keep losing games by a few goals. If someone can help by looking at a few games then I'd be grateful.

One question about energy. The leader in my league has played 37 competitive matches very high which counts as 37*1.5 = 55,5 consumed energy. There are also friendly matches played with same intensity but I don't count them now. In hockey (when I played it almost two years ago) my team would have been destroyed in the second half of the season if I would have consumed that much energy. But this does not seem to affect this teams performance at all. What I am missing here? Does seasonal energy still affect the team performance same way as I remember it did?

Second he played 26 games in very high (26x1.5=39pts) and a few in High...

Most of your league is filled with noname teams which is easier to defeat...maybe against you he would have more problems due to your energy difference...

Anyway most of us are used to the regular system of energy difference in hockey for example but in Handball it seems to work differently...

I agree with you it should affect team's performance in much bigger way

Well, at least in my league every team has played 30 games I counted also the national cup games, 7, so 37 games. But anyways, I'm nitpicking here

And yes, in hockey I could see the team strength go down when energy was lower but that does not seem to happen in handball. Just a bit confused.

True, that's what I do also sometimes, but for example goalkeeper has played lot of games (~30) but still the rating has gone up from 17->19. Maybe chemistry and experience gained gives more benefit than 45 energy loss? I'm not sure but I would bet this would not have happened in hockey. But I could be wrong.

The goalkeeper value is calculated from both goalkeepers, His second goalkeeper have almost played no match but still gained exp and chemistry.

Both goalkeepers affect goalkeepers rating. And if first plays a lot of games, then second has a lot of trainings at the same time. But initially they ratings not very different from each other - "17" and "16". So when they coming in the starting lineup together not surprising that common rating has growing.
What about season energy influence - it`s just a "bottom" rating that no any influence can significantly change it

Energy is quite absurd in handball. I earlier played at high/v. high and still lost quite a number of games. Now I play at low/normal and I am at 2nd in league(due to lower goal diff).

Energy either has no effect in handball or it might be working in reverse.

Honestly I've not seen any better results when I have played at Very Hard.

I did get some decent results playing low but not many. It all seems the same, but I don't understand either.

Again I lose by a few goals, I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what! I must have really bad shooting, I do have a low score for that (only 9).

I'm really sick of this game.
