Anyway, it s**ks. I understand now, why teams are winning regular season and playoffs, just to throw away finals to finish 2nd and then throw promotion matches also. It pays better than finishing 4th or 5th in upper league, not to mention easier competition and OTR build-up. Obviously, it's also worth a s**t to qualify for CWC. Well, it will help to raise OTR that will affect the next contract, but winning a cup is not an easy achievement that can be attained every season. Finishing 2nd in 2nd league is much easier.

Playing for CWC is a big part of the game, but its not about the contract from making it, its from the OTR boost from playing in it. I'd be happy about it and expect big things with your contract next year if you can get a lot of OTR out of it.

it's not fair to keep playing in an "easier" league to get OTR, and thus bigger sponsors than the lower teams in div 1, kinda unrealistic to me

I'm with you completely on that, that the contracts have been bad for a long time. But it doesn't look like they're changing anytime soon. If you're in league 1 you need to play hard for the cups. OTR is the key factor in my opinion.

I know, I'm a topteam in Belgium, so no problems with sponsors, but it's pitty that lower div 1 teams are "penalized" for being there, while others are "cheating the system (imo)" by not willing to promote

I sold 5 staff at season 3 at 17. Match 2010. It was the last Wednesday of season 3. I have PRO package and at last Wednesday at season 4 (datum 07. July 2010) it was said that they are only 110 days since last transfer. Yestarday was 111 days and today is 112 days. It doesn't make any sense. The season is 112 days long and if I sell some staff or players at last Wednesday at season 3 that transfers must be annulled at last Wednesday at season 4 (112 days gone - as much as season is long). Anyway instead of 5% I gave 11% to the agent. It's not that much money in this case (but If I will do this with players I will lose a lot of money). Somewhere 2 days are lost and I'm wondering where and why?

Today (14:29) Subject: Cup Winners' Cup participation

Our team has qualified for the Cup Winners' Cup thanks to great performances in the previous season. It is very good publicity for our club and we hope to get as far as possible.


I remember there were some problems last season with the 1st day sponsor offers which have international cup qualification not accounted for. Could it be the same this season also, as the notification came later than the 1st offer as it had last season?

vlady said the opposite. The first offers took the qualification into account. The rumor that it didn't was spread by the players who were upset with their sponsor offers.

I havent recieved a skybox offer for today after i turned down yesterdays 2* offer.
