Amen At your level, keep everything and see who can play I only sold staff my first season I think
i signed all 3 guys, first time i've done that. nothing great, nothing terrible all just look average. I'll scout them then decide their future.
best one in awhile - four guys with a 258 and a 260. will see how their Q's pan out when they arrive...
The rich get richer...I also pulled 4 but the top guy has an OR of 206...cut two others and kept another one that is at 186. Not a disaster, but no impact players for the stretch run.
I feel your pain JOJO this is my 5th straight pull with no one over 168.
Possible good goalie, depends on his scouting of his 2nd/3rd attys. However he's already better than another goalie I picked up off the market to train up.
Pulled 4 guys -- best one was an OR 239 forward, whose qualities in everything seem to be in the 70s. Could be worse.
My Academy is showing a pattern of pulling guys with two telling traits: Forwards with defense values in the 20s, and players whose primary and secondary attributes are all about equal.
In this guy's case (Timothy Edwards ), excluding goalie, his stat line is 25-41-38-38-36-41. Fits my Academy mold perfectly.
My scouts dropped the ball on one guy though; told me he was a 3.5-star forward, but he seemed to arrive with a 45% average quality. Get outta here, scrub!

My first two pulls on SA level 9 have been much better than all of my pulls on level 7 & 8 combined. I've pulled a 238 OR and a 257 OR in the last two weeks. I hope this trend continues.
I hope it will too since my SA will be 9 for the next pull.
I have no #3 goalie, this could turn bad if I don't get one from SA and the injury bug hits.
I pulled a 258 goalie this week with an interesting name - Chard Menard . I'm wondering now if I make a long-term project on him and train him as a #3 goalie, train him to be a D-man instead since he's a U or sell him (probably the last one...)
as a goalie I see him as 52 (61) 46 (87) 36 (47)
as a D-man he's a 28 (63) 46 (87) 30 (82) and he's got 34 (77) shooting...hmmm...

Goalies seem to bring in lots of money on the market, especially if they are already partially trained properly.
Debating between selling my 3rd (since I now have 5) since he's got CL 6/6, or my 2nd since he has never performed as well as my first, and hardly ever gets playing time for the extra cash he might bring in for being more fully trained.

I have to decide soon if I'm going to keep him or not - cause if I am I HAVE to give him a nickname. Chard "the Lard" Menard or some such...
