I'm going to introduce myself and my assistent Legy1.
season 19 and 21, I worked with the team of Ireland-U18 and national team. We won the procedure to in the first division World Championship.
we want players who play regularly so they will have and gain exp,which is in our opinion very
important.
We don't promise to win World Championship but we promise to work very hard to make Ireland U-20 compete with strong opponents.

I am back

I was a main manager of Ireland U20 for 3 seasons (14 - 16). In these seasons U20 had the best ranks ever. We were on the 3. place in division I. You can check it here: hockey.powerplaymanager.c...

Also I was a main manager of Slovakia U20 in 19th season and we won bronze medal in TOP division.

I´d like to be a manager of Ireland U20 again. I will do my best for this team. It's difficult job but I like it.

Hello everyone !

A little update on this year's team.
For now, I'm building the chemistry of the players that will most likely go to the WCH. And some of our best players have already over 90%, that's why they don't play friendlies so far. And One of the three goalies is playing center. So the team's strength is obviously lower than it will be for our first game at the WCH.
And tomorrow, it will be even lower, because 2 teams have started a training camp and I'm not using their players or they would loose the benefit of the camp. In addition, we have one injury.
Still, we won last friendly against Italy, a direct opponent for WCH. It surely helps the team be more confident in having some success in the competition.

There is still many things to build and I'm trying to prepare for next season as well (even if I don't know if I'll be running the team, I hope so ! ). I might add some u19 players during the season and I'm working on tactics to have at least 2 good PP and PK and 3 styles so I can choose the best tactic and not be too predictible.

Thanks to every manager that provides players for the team, I know you work hard on training them and it shows !

A little update if anyone wonders what's going on.

For the past 2 games and the next, I'm working on 19yo players that won't play this season but the next (and I used some weak 20yo to fill the roster). That's why our team is at its weakest right now and that's why I set the importance at very high.
This way, our strong players won't lose energy but our tactics are increasing much more. And next season, our players will have more chemistry.

So don't worry, we'll be ready for the WCH !

First game, first win !

It was close, but we came out strong against Estonia in this season's WCH debut. We took a lot of shots and gained the lead pretty early in the game. The winning goal was scored by Killian Parnell, short handed !

Next game against Netherlands isn't gonna be an easy one. We lost 2 of our last 3 encounters. Last season we won 3-2, Dylan Kerr and Christopher Prior got one assist each, we need them to make a difference this season too !

Let's go for the win !

Two for two !

Not as close as I thought. We took advantage of their weak goaltender and scored 8 goals ! Thomas O'Connor is now leading the WCH in goals and points, Peadar O'Reilly in assists and Dylan Kerr in defensemen scoring !! It was a great performence by every player, including our fourth line and 2d goalie that played for the first time.

Now, we take on Bosnia to show that we deserve our 2d place. But even though they have a low team strengh, they won their first two games. But we can win this one too !

Congrats. More wins for the u20 team since season 40 with plenty more games to go.

For me I plodded on with the game not really paying attention for a long while. Seeing some interaction with the national team has given me something to work towards given the Irish league is very static at the moment so thanks for that.

It's pretty unbelievable, we have never trailed during a game so far ! What a performence ! It's a great team effort and a good reward for everyone that took time to train these players !

There are 4 tough games ahead, next is Belgium, a pretty solid team that is still looking for their first win. Let's not give it to them ! We need every point possible !
