Canucks have 2 years (3 tops) to win a cup before they have to rebuild
I'm not sure they will need to do a full rebuild on the scale of Toronto and Edmonton though, the canucks will at least have some decent prospects that have already spent time in the AHL.
Yes, you have very good player, but I think that having given a big contract Luongo was a big mistake (Goalie overvalued)
We'll see. Can't argue he's one of the best. Issue is that is he one of the best mentally. We know how he can play from Dec-Apr. But it's the Apr-June run that he needs to work on.

I honestly believe that Corey Schneider has a chance to become something really good as well, so I hope the Canucks trade him so he gets a chance to shine. He'll never get a fair shot with Luongo here, and he's not getting any younger...
Actually Vancouver would win that trade I would think, though Luongo would sure play well in his hometown... until the Luooos inevitably turned into Boooo's, because, you know, it is Montreal.
