As always, I'm already looking ahead at what the league will look like after this season. Of the teams in league 4 looking to promote, only one has a strength over 50 which basically means, they'll be cannon fodder. Since Elmira is no longer managed, we should get 5 new teams from league 4.

From league 2, we'll get an unmanaged team and I'm sure our second team will win a promotional round so we'll get a team around 60 strength as well. Now, that unmanaged team, according to the news post a couple of months back, will be replaced by another league 4 team.

So... For next season, we'll get about 5 very weak teams, one in the 50s and one in the 60s. This might be the best time ever for one of us to try to promote as the competitiveness of this league will drop significantly.

As you can see, we have 3 promotion contenders in the top 5. US-GB is just on the outside of this. The surprise for me was seeing the Cats so low. Now they're higher than that in reality as they played on V.High while have a training camp. But this should only push them to about 90 or so at most.

I sure did drop a lot when I sold every non-Canadian players. It will be a lot higher soon. Better goalie and better players with higher qualities bought.

Interesting, we'll have a finale before its time. The Cats and Fat Tuesday will be facing off in the first round. They're the two strongest teams in the league on paper.

Anyone care to make predictions?

I'd say:
Fed in 3 (You always play with too low energy)
Canadiens in 2
Chinooks in 3
Fats in 2

And don't forget, teams 9 through 16. This first serie determine if you'll have to play a relegation round or not.
