Don't worry about it. Most people lose against Panzers at the beginning. I lost against them too. But he'll fizzle out in about 3-6 games.
Armada is not bad though. the guy knows how to play. The thing with conserving energy is you'll get losses like that during the season. Don't forget your end goal though. You'll have a much easier second half of the season too.
I'm not conserving as much this season. My goal is the same one you had last season. Do well during the season and we'll see about the playoffs when they get here.
