Has anybody tried 4-2-3-1, wingers and CAM with over 70% on shooting?
I am currently having $12M due to prize money but no facility to upgrade. I was planning to go for a stadium upgrade early next season but I am not sure if I should do it now given that I have the money. If I do it now I'll have 2400 seats less going into media sponsorship. Would it be worth waiting for the sponsor offer or should I go for the upgrade now itself?
I would wait. It's only a few more days.
I disagree. Rating is a indicator only. To judge who is truly the better player you need to look at everything... Attributes, qualities, cl, age, etc.
But the keeper on rate 25 is stronger than the keeper on rate 23 in the next match ! Or....
Rating is the _main_ indicator if we talk about "abilities and overall suitability for the position" but it says nothing about "performance of the player in that match".
Question was initially incomplete - "which is better?". Better for what? For example, energy has already been taken into account in the rating because "rating is the combination of his experience, chemistry, energy and attributes needed for the given position".
But is higher rating ensures better performance in particularly match? Not at all.

Also, keep in mind that for example chemistry (mainly defenders) falls into play in some tactical choices such as off side play. Another thing is that for example defense skill is important for attackers as well but it doesn't show in the rating, or shooting for all filed players.

I certainly agree. Rating "25" is rating "25" and it higher than "23" no matter what is season energy level. And it is final answer for goalkeepers.
All that rating indicates is that one Goalie was better based on the last game. But "better" to me has to be a long term thing, and rating doesn't include longevity etc.
That`s right, that the questions about player rating may be relevant not only to the match perfomance.

I know what you mean to.
But the question was really simple to answer.
With your thougts you complicate everything more than its have to do.
Its many ways to go for success, and build for the future is one. Another way is... WIN many matches and get OTR and get a economical favours that way.
Later in the game you can have both...
