Wow, that's surprising

You're right, but it's one step back two steps forward approach for me at this juncture. I'm looking at selling these players now being of more benefit than keeping them. I don't believe you can have long term success with a team built with players pulled in the first 3 seasons. Look at the top 20 players on the NT in hockey and you'll see 70% were pulled in seasons 5 through 8, in soccer 85% were pulled seasons 4 through 7. The 19 year old's that I'm selling haven't plateaued in value but I think they're getting close. I can use the proceeds (I'm guessing about 500M) to:

-jump start a youth movement
-expand the area to offset the lost revenue from losing more often
-improve facilities to make all my players worth more
-buy a true franchise players pulled from the seasons 4, 5, or 6.

This is what I love about PPM, the game always presents you tough decisions.

Something doesn't make sense. I can scout 4 players per day, but am only drafting 2 players. What's up with that?

Perhaps you went from 2 to 3 players was between the time where they generate your picks and number of scouted players - it happens right around the nightly update.
