If a team that would normally qualify for those international competitions was to be inactive, does the slot go to the next active team in line?

...Could that actually turn out to be me if I stick to the 5th position in the league - or move back up to 4th (since both position 1 & 2 will likely be the cup winners as well)? I'm still not 100% clear how this works.

And I don't think my team stands ANY chance out there if that is the case :/

Still looking for that clinching 5th win. Good news is I play the bottom-2 teams to finish up.

To my understanding the inactive would still get it. As of right now CWC will be represented by The National CUP Winner. If Canada finishes in the top 28 world teams we will qualify the 2nd place team as well.

Georgian Bay Giants (National Cup Champion)
Royal City Teslas (National Cup 2nd Place)
Jedi Masters (National Cup 3rd Place)
Roughnecks (National Cup 4th Place)

However If GBG and RCT finish as League Champion for Canada i.1 (and 2nd under top 28 scenario) they would represent us in the
Champion's League. That opens the door for Jedi and Roughnecks to slot in to CWC.

Your best case scenario would be to win the League Championship or come in 2nd under the top 28 team scenario.

Top 28 in serious jeopardy after RCT, GBG, and Roughnecks losing today. At least Jedi got a tie. Only 2 more games each and hopefully more for RCT if they qualify for playoffs
