Hahahaha I can relate! To be honest, if I wasn't a top-4 team in Handball I'd have quit already. I'm thinking of doing so in basketball. There's simply no substance. Hockey and soccer included, I just have more invested and more of an attachment to them.

Bob is a great guy and agreed. Lo is on the market to support better NT development. I got the bidding started. He only asked that we do our best to make sure he goes to at least a good team, if not a good Canadian team.

FYI - we dropped to 29th (top 28 qualify 4 teams) in the rankings after our poor showing last week. Italy passed us and won both their games today. Switzerland is only .06 points behind us and they also won both their games today

CL and CWC are strictly a bonus to me. My team isn't good enough to make any noise so I won't waste energy on it (I don't in hockey where my team is).
I do understand your argument. You have a bonafide top 4 team and want to help your chances of your team getting into these tournaments. They provide a small few of us with an extra opportunity to gain OTR which leads to more sponsor money. In this game there are many paths to gain OTR. It can be argued that one way may be better than another but that decision should ultimately be left to the individual manager.

Definitely an individual decision - just hoping we can work collaboratively for the benefit of all
