Strange to see you play VL today

It is all part of the strategy mine froind. I had to go 3 games on VH last round, so this levels it up now. A win at home and it becomes a 1-game series.

Interesting strategy. I'm guessing you never calculated you'd have the lead after the 1st half in a VL vs VH matchup.

Ha! Didn't even notice it in the game summary!!! Bahahaha. Watch, my goalies will shit the bed on Sunday hahaha. Oh well, already got a CWC spot locked up. Not going to lie, don't really want to turn that in for a ChL spot.

Help me better understand that. I finished 2nd in the National Cup so I'm assuming I'm also in the CWC. If I finish top 2 in the playoffs will I somehow jeopardize that? Any reason CWC is better than ChL?

Correct. ChL trumps CWC. So if you qualify for both, you go to the ChL. CWC is far better than the ChL because the ChL is populated with the best of the best. CWC has weaker opponents. Since OTR gain is equal among both tournaments and you're more likely to go farther in the CWC, it is actually better from a financial standpoint than the ChL. Only thing the ChL gets you that's better than the CWC is... a trophy worth more bragging points. Seriously, ChL trophy is 2500 points and CWC is 1500. These points are only used for bragging rights rankings.
