Every comparison with real life is useless.

It's ok that 80 vs 100 anything can happen. The point is the probability of each result. 1-0 will have a different probability than 0-1 and so on.

Strenght is not the only variable in the match (or shouldn't..). If the 100-strenght team playing with very bad tactic/formation should have high loose probability against a 80-strenght team playing with good ones.

I'm not complaining about my league position. I'm complaining about the match engine that fails too often (and in cups it's quite annoying).

If the strongest team arrived 10th there would be some "little" problems (provided he/she is not playing with absurd formation/tactics).

I think your behaviour is very borderline and, even if it is allowed by the game, my personal opinion is that this behaviour is too tricky and shouldn't be allowed

We don't like it of course and we plan to remedy this with some changes in how team strength is calculated and also by publishing all the moves of the players. We will do that hopefully during this season.

If you're going to talk about the 100 vs 80 argument, you should know this.

The team with 100 strength is not 20% better than the team with 80. Those numbers are based on a standard across all teams in all games.

100 vs 80 is like comparing 500 to 480. It's really not all that much difference in OTS.

Should that 80 OTS team lose often vs that 100 OTS team? Possibly, but they can also win most of the time with smart tactics and good management.

Do you follow the Euro Champions League? Did you see Barcelona get their ass beat down and lose 4-0 to a team that "should" have lost? That game is a perfect example of tactics and management beating dominant strength.

Your problem is that you think 55-45 possession is a big difference and the one with 55% possession should win all of those matches. The reality is that if the game worked that way, it'd be way too difficult to beat teams that are just a bit better than your team. That would be very predictable and boring to play.

If you can show me that the weaker teams do win a lot of 70-30 possession matches, then there might be a problem but I don't think that really is the case.
