Yup, I've missed that.
We r the only country away from Europe
We've achieved what we came for, everything else is just over expectation. In fact, even the promotion is a bit of extra, I'd say. However, I remember like the Japan and Korea went into playoffs as under dogs back in years on WC too..

Well, we finally bowed out, after a 2-1 defeat to Croatia. But this has been an amazing World Cup, the best we've ever done, and far beyond my original goal of just qualifying.

Hopefully, the next group can do well, but it will be very difficult. For example, we had an incredible goalie this season, but our only goalie will only be 16 next season. With such a small base of managers, we have a lot of variation in our players...

Yes, I'm so excited by that! 
When I saw Japan get to 20th last season with even fewer managers than we have, that became my unofficial goal. I didn't expect to actually get there, so I'm very pleased!

New goal for U17 should be U17 now 
And...we got thumped by Japan 3-0 in our first friendly of the season. We are remarkably evenly matched teams, but their very high energy to our low was too much of a hurdle.

And we got a better than expected 3-1 win against Colombia today! Good to see our forward, Max Dixon step up to the plate for this match!

happy to see more youngsters in squad, quiet few 16 or 15yro
We don't have a lot of 15yr olds on the team yet, but the ones we have look like winners!
And the 16yr olds look like one of our biggest cohorts, with only a couple that look like they'll drop off.
