Next week, we're up against Belgium in our first competitive game of the season. It will be tough. They're more highly ranked and we have two first team players suspended. But we'll do our best.

Unfortunately, we lost our opening game 1-0 against Belgium. Not only were they a stronger team playing at home but we were down three regular first team players due to injury and suspension so it was always going to be tough. The next two games (Egypt and Ireland) should be easier. Match report here:

U could see it coming (no offense), I don't think changing H in first half to VH, would change anything. Especially having key players out..

Disappointingly, we went down 2-1 to Ireland overnight.

We were away but we were also the stronger team so I had hoped to get over the line. The most frustrating thing was, in the second half, I tried to strengthen the midfield by swapping a defender for a midfielder. The midfielder came on but stayed in the defender position. I can't work out why. Everyone else who was due to move in that substitution did, except the person who most needed to. I've sent a message to Vlady to see if he has any advice.

I'm happy with that. Brazil were stronger than us even if they're currently coming last in our group.

Well, I wouldn't feel too bad, since Finland U20s are ranked no.2 in the world... 
in this case, I would definitelly agree with Malikas, it ain't bad compare to we have been outshoot 21:1 and they used VH,.. besides Finland has full three leagues!
..funny is that first half we played only high importance and conceive single goal while the second one on VH..

I don't know if this makes sense in the PPM game engine but part of the reason I play high in the first half is so the team can lift in the second half if they need to. If you start on very high, you can only tire and effectively lose intensity late in the game. Anyway, clearly it didn't help in that game but better news this week

The Colombians were the stronger team but they used a bizarre formation with five centre midfielders which allowed our more regular 4-4-2 to dominate possession on the flanks and have more shots on goal. Not that that helped until a blatant foul in the box at the 88th minute mark allowed Trent Edwards to seal the three points for us.

I got the idea, just have a feeling that unless your team is way stronger, playing better defense, it is just a lottery. Especially, in a hockey game if you wanna be sure, u have to play one higher (e.g.from N -> VH).
I saw that many time, increaing tactics one lvl up, lossing closed game by that..
