主題: Skyboxes... anyone have one?
There's quite a large jump up to the multifunctional stands in the arena. The one thing that intrigues me is the skybox rental.
Does anyone have one and can share how much income they make from them? It seems that for me, it makes more sense to upgrade all my stands to something like large stand up right now, but I can probably soon afford a multifunctional, and was just looking for some information on skyboxes.

Oil does. $ is crap though.
I've heard through a dev that they're programmed to take 3 seasons or so to make their expenses back. Ask oil. He'll tell you more about them.
I am curious Canucks... when you guys say "A dev said" or "Vlady said" etc. Where do these people say these things?
I PM'd Vlady and asked about the financial structure of Skyboxes before they were implemented.
I will have to grow my stadium pretty soon. I haven't decided which way to go yet.
i desperately want skyboxes...real world economics says this is where you make 90% of your operational profit....doesn't sound like that is the case for PPM.
If you go that route, wait till you can afford max capacity. You're real benefit will be in the attendance revenue.
which is a shame....i don't think that is an accurate economic model...oh well...still just a game

Yeah, the skybox was a little disappointing in revenue. I was assuming it'd be much like real life bringing in big bucks. I'm gettin 29 079 a week. Not bad, and my attendance is up having the multi functional section, so I wouldn't say "don't build it" but I'll say don't build it solely for the skybox revenue. If you build that section and just call the revenue from the skybox an extra bonus, then you have the right idea.
The section costs you $472,360 /week for upkeep. It generates $29, 079 /week in skybox revenue. Not to mention it cost you $28,740,000 to build. It's no wonder so many of the top teams are shying away arena construction.
