Well RCR relinquish their run of regular season titles as it seems. While still not out of the title race, saving energy has cost them a couple too many points but beware y'all... I'm rarin' to go come playoff time!

Plus, if I don't win the league in playoffs, I'll just firesale my whole team and buy some expensive prospects so you'll be stuck with me for many moons to come! Muahahahaha.

The AA will be likely be the regular season champs, but there's no way they're winning the playoffs. That'll be RCR territory

You say that but you have a solid club. Are you not planning on promoting or something?

I hope I'll be able to secure my 2nd place in last game vs Too legit to quit, it's always tough games. Would be the 2nd time in a row I would be 2nd with as many points but lower goal difference.

The true season starts Friday. All that tomorrow's game will determine is who has home ice in round two when we face off with one and other.

There's a part of me that would like to get back to I.1 (I would have used way more energy in the regular season if I had no intention to go up...though I will burn all the necessary energy to win the last game of the season, since I have never won a second division regular season title and would like to do so), but I don't think that's what's best for my team.

That doesn't mean I won't do my best to win, I will, but I won't be too sad if my staying down.

A two weeks injury to my top center will likely have an impact as well. He'll be out for the first two rounds.

True. Though I've thought more in terms of OTR for the past 2 seasons. Now I've climbed to a decent ranking so hopefully that's gonna help woth sponsors. I'll focus more on energy saving next season to maybe have a shot at I.1 at some point in the future. PPM gods be with Brutal Deluxe...

Getting into OT has clinch 2nd for you and as A.A. are looking good for a win it looks like the top-3 remain unchanged going into the playoffs.

indeed. 43 shots vs 18 and I need shootout. Stupid game engine lol. 2nd place is secured, though facing Atikokan in 1st round isn't great. I often have trouble against them. I guess it's better than Too Legit to Quit though since our last 2 games were decided during OT.

Fair enough. Hopefully I'll win 1st round, then lose 2nd round. This way I'll be able to start TC in time while running for 3rd or 4th rank.

Ya I got two TC's in the bank as well... I can easily field a strong team of vets and run a TC during playoffs for my rookies.

I've had problems against Incredible Foes all season long and it seems like it won't be different in the playoffs...

Wooo! Two upsets in game 1 of the semi-finals. Could the top two teams be observing the final? Or can they battle back and win back-to-back games including the next game on the road.
