So every 25 days he'd drop a point in each attribute? So he'd be down 4 points across the board each season. That's not bad at all. Wonder if you could combat that by sending him to camp!

Oh for sure. But imagine 20 seasons of lvl 15 training under their belt. Those will be the top players. If and when they hit 0/6 they'll still be better than most guys on your team and certainly better than guys on younger teams.

I think trading will give a better hockey feel to this game but its too easy to abuse.

Has been looked into to see if you get more penalties in a game when you are outmatched by your opponent? It feels like last season when most of my league was no names I rarely received penalties, and this season after moving up a division I am getting a lot more penalties, most of my players are a 1:1 training for technique to aggression.

Yes it depends on zone time but also number of penalties called against you. You get 3 in a row you're less likely to get the next.

So I have a question regarding career lengths. This is the way I thought it worked:

This is clearly wrong though, as I have a player who was 15 and 6/6 last season, and is now 16 and 5/6.

I was also told that the earliest a player could hit 3/6 was 21, which doesn't make sense to me as a player who starts as 15 and 5/6, hits 17 and 4/6 is then guaranteed 4 years at 4/6.

So are there specific rules that career lengths adhere to? And what are they exactly?

You assume he was 6/6 at 14. That's the only way of looking at it. 15 6/6 to 16 5/6 piss me off to no end. That happens to all my top prospects... especially the ones I spend big bucks on on the market.

That seems dumb to me. Is that how the devs explained it? Doesn't seem fair to have a player drop after one season, when every other situation gives them at least 2 years.

no, that's not the way we explain it, but that's the way you can look at it if you want. Why wouldn't it be fair? It's the same for everyone.

Yes, it's the same for everyone, but I would rather it be better for everyone than worse for everyone.
