So it looks like Handball is not yet open not even for those that want to pay the 30 credits? I am assuming because we are ahead of time.

yup, it was like never ending,..I went through few of those large soccer stadium size squares and there was always another one behind...Also I enjoyed the wall. The only thing that surprised me a bit was the very gray sky that even the Sun couldn't shine through

Gawd the Handball game looks messy to say the least fairly confusing for us Aussies who dont know the game at all.
Yeah. Think i need to learn the rules. LOL
well, guys..truth is that it's completely different.. it will takes a mmt to figure out the way of play..neither am I to familiar to handball.. there is a similarity to basketball, I'd say defense wou8ld be important..
Well I'm very happy to be top of league 1.1 in handball... after a 24-24 all draw with TB's team. I will enjoy it while it lasts, I'm thinking of starting in the lowest possible league when they launch as I like the idea of the only way to go it up! Plus that promotion money might be nice.
True, but sponsor offers are way lower, and long-term, it will hurt you i reckon.
truth is that there will be $$ for promotion, question is how much (sponsorship) will be the difference between top and second league.. at the end it would be either very similar (if u promote) or higher in top L... u have to understand clearly that if u won't promote the first yr then u will be shorter on money(visibly) than top league guys as trueblue55 pointed out very well.. as of real soccer/hockey difference first/second league is huge so... still, I would like to start on a bottom/lower league as I love the competition!

I def. understand that. I hockey i started in the lower leagues and worked hard to promote myself to the top league. took 3 seasons to get up there, but did it, and felt so proud that I accomplished that.
So i absolutely understand the competition factor. Tough choice though i guess.

Structure will be deeper too with only three leagues in div 2... So you will likely start in Div 4 at the bottom... I'll be starting there and working my way up, celebrating with a case of beer every promotion!

I know this is the soccer forum but I have asked the Q in the Handball question and not received a reply so thought maybe a Aussie who knows nothing of handball like me may be able to answer!!
I am still trying to find out if in Handball can all the defenders in your lineup differ to the offensive players???
