This game tonight is one of the most important games i have ever played on PPM, If i win or draw it im odds on favourite to advance in my group so fingers crossed i get a result.

No pressure, but if you and Trueblue both progress, it might be enough to get us back up to two teams into each of Champions League and Cup Winners Cup next year.

So you should have a couple of other managers cheering you on as well (Knights and Prestige spring to mind).

I have to take some of the blame for the reduced quota after a poor Champions League performance last year. That and two managerless teams in the Cup Winners Cup.

Yeah I tanked it my avg overall of my top 11 is 100+ lower then yours I am still concentrating heavily on growing my infrastructure especially my economic department want to make a catch up to the top few soon though in terms of bringing in some better players.

Just wondering, What ratio do you all train your central midfielders too. ?

For me, I aim for 75% passing and technique, 25% heading and speed and roughly 50% shooting although I vary shooting up and down a bit based on quality.

N8dawg, nothing wrong with your tactics, particularly the bit about investing in infrastructure If I sounded like I was whinging, it was aimed purely at myself and wondering if I haven't gone very high too many times so far this year.

Lucky he didn't log in on time to change his tactics but pretty happy with the win.
I'm willing to go a couple of million for him so I'm pretty sure I should be able to get him.
I'm trying to get a lot of young Aussie talent at my club because I want my club to be a little bit more like colah creeks in the future, lots of young Aussies who will no doubt represent our country in the next coming seasons.

22 Omelchenko DC
Oldest player in the team. Been with the team the 5th longest. Considered the weakest in my starting line up. Will end up just being a reserve then likely being sold.
21 Roesler DC
Fourth longest player in the team. Oldest reserve by 4 years. Once Omelchenko is replaced in starting lineup will be sold to make way for Omelchenko as reserve. No real future with the team.
21 De Cocq DL
Been with the team the longest. Still stronger then four of the starting lineup. Will be in the starting lineup for some seasons yet.
21 Gazdic GK
Second longest in the team. 3 Players weaker then Gazdic in the starting lineup. Will be in the starting lineup for at least 2 more seasons
20 Safranek MC
Safranek to be replaced within next season or two. Will likely be sold rather then placed as a backup with two solid young backups coming through.
20 Haviar MC
Third longest in the team. Strongest of the starting MC and good quality attribute will see him in team for some time yet.
20 Filimonivic DR
Still a strong starter. Plenty of other positions need bolstering before this player is under the microscope bound to be in the starting lineup for some time yet.
19 Mikovcak FC
Weakest starting striker. Will be replaced soon and demoted to backup replacing Horak.
19 Sildedzis MR
Good starting lineup player. Still under 20 and has a good quality attribute will be a starter for some time yet.
19 Miklos FC
Teams best striker. Decent quality, still under 20 will be in the team for some time yet.
19 Plencis ML
Second strongest player in the team. Decent quality and under 20 will be in the starting lineup for many seasons ahead.
19 Belej DC
Teams best player. At under 20 and with decent quality bound to be in the team for many seasons ahead.
17 Donrseifer DR
Weakest current backup. However good quality and career longevity means he will be a solid backup for some time. Unlikely to ever get into starting lineup. Filimonovic wont be sold for some time but by the time he is this player wont have taken his spot in the team.
17 Horak FC
Second weakest in the backup squad. Will never get to starting position. Once Mikovcak is replaced Horak will be sold.
17 Foit ML
Will never make starting lineup. Not likely to be sold for some time due to Plencis being a strong starter. Has some pressure from the one year younger Bailey who has better quality may be squeezed out and sold by Bailey in seasons to come.
17 Prelcec MC
Strongest backup MC. However other Backup MC has best quality in the team and is one year younger. Decision will have to be made once Safranek is replaced to sell Safranek or this player.
17 Yongbo GK
Yongbo will not make the starting lineup. He will likely be in the team for some time as a backup then he will be squeezed out by either Gazdic being demoted or Baker being promoted.
17 Saurer DC
Not a stand out backup. Average strength, average quality. Will likely be sold when Omelchenko is demoted.
17 Dolmatov DL
Strong backup. Will likely not challenge for a starting spot but could as decent quality and good longevity may allow a catch up to De Cocq before he is sold.
17 Chlapek MR
Good backup player. Strongest backup in the team. Will likely never be more then a backup though as starter is stronger and has better quality.
16 Bailey ML
Australian player. Average quality means he wont become much more then a backup if even that. Was promoted to squad due to lack of player numbers last season to allow maxed out training camps.
16 Rochford FC
Australian player. Second best quality in the team young and has the potential to grow into a solid backup player in the future.
16 Little MC
Young Backup. Best quality in the team. Could be the teams first Australian national player in seasons to come.
16 Gellert FC
For age great strength. Slightly lacking in quality to push for a starting lineup in the future could be a long term backup.
15 Baker GK
Australian Player. Decent overall rating and decent quality not likely to amount to much though, slightly disappointing quality when accepted from academy.
