..for me the season is over, managerless too

Just popping down to the TAB to back Terriers to pip Tylko.

He has a tougher run home than you do. In fact, if you go back to January when you last played the same run of teams, Tylko completed that run of seven games with a 22-1 for-against and you 54-0!

Hey Crico, can't believe you sold Trey Denney ... Super star and best goalie in Australia.... But suppose $101M helps!

Time to give the youth a go.

Will you make a young team? And will you sell the other senior NT players too?

There is a fierce battle for 10th spot as Fire Kickers and Llorens duke it out. Their second 1:1 draw against each other has kept this season tight!

Also, positions 3-6 are within a hair's breadth of each other...

On closer inspection, it looks like Tylko & Terriers are the real ones battling for 4th spot. A lot of bot teams for Knights and Kangaroo.

Closed fight for 10th spot, u both start bout the same time..it's great when there is a someone who starts by the same time u did so u have the rivalry going which makes it more exciting (like me and Highlanders)

FYI: after lost to Tylko, there is nothing else to fight for cause of too many managerless teams and I'm too many points out now (enough experienced managers to keep ahead of me) so the season kinda finished for me already..

So Crico... How much did you put on the TAB?

2 matches to go and the margin GD is just 2 goals.... Probably will come down to the final game to sort out 4th place!

The odds at the time were a mouth watering 50:1 so I tried to put my life savings on it: 12 dollars, 34 cents, five milk bottle tops and a signed 1989 Scanlen's footy card of Trevor Cogger. Unfortunately, because of responsible gambling limits, they would only accept the milk bottle tops but I'm getting ready to cash in there!

It looks like it's all coming down to the last match of the season... As far as I can tell, it's a tight race for 4th place, with even points and a single goal difference between Terriers and Tylko... You may yet lose your bottle tops crico, though Highland is finally on top!

Llorens and Fire Kickers are also on even points in the 10th place battle, after the Kickers' flogging by Warrimoo this evening. Sunday is looking exciting...

Tonight's round looks to be fairly boring, with all the manager teams against the manager-less teams. In terms of the standings, Highland Terriers and Tylko LEGIA have only one goal in between them, so 4th place could simply come down to who can put the most goals in the back of the net in this last game!

The crowds at the Tylko's and Terrier's games were riveted to their mobile phones as they checked updates from the other grounds. Tylko raced to a 10-0 lead in the 31st minute while the Terriers managed only 6-0 in the same time but, as often happens in such situations, the Tylko players felt the goals would keep coming from their teammates while they individually took their foot off the pedal a bit. The goals dried up for Tylko while the Terriers kept chipping away and it wasn't till the 80th minute they slotted home their 11th, giving them the advantage over their rivals, snatching 4th spot by the slenderest of margins. Now I'm off to collect my milk bottle tops

I think that's what they call "pipping at the post".... 11 goals I think is my teams record - needed every one of those! Well that made that last few rounds exciting for me anyway.
