A big stadium is a great earner. I basically get $8m for every home game which puts ticket sales in the same ball park as sponsorship as far as revenue goes.
However, if you're going to be successful, great facilities are also important. As nat team manager, I track all the players and the ones with level 15 training and regeneration improve noticeably more than the ones at level 10.
So you have to find that balance between where you spend your money. And don't be in too much of a rush. The top teams might seem out of reach at the moment but you will catch up.
Oh bugger, just lost my best player on a restrict agent transfer - Declan Watkins and got bigger all $ for him too... I didn't see the news article to buy and retain him last week.
Well that seriously weakens me in the forwards now.
Didn't expected to see FC Brisbane overtake Bar Reef, especially after Bar Reef defend me two rounds back.
Also, Tylko Legia is finally falling down through table except not as easily as I expected. This team is way stronger compare to past few seasons
Like to see tougher competition again!
We may have lost a couple of strong teams in Beta's and Prestige but the rest aren't so far behind. At the same time last season, Beta's played Prestige in a Cup semi-final and each team had a strength of 189. If you look at the current team strengths, you get:
So you have a top three of Knights, Trueblue, Colah; a second three of Tylko, Terriers, Kangaroo; and a third three of Bar Reef, Brisbane and Atlantic; with Dinosaurs, Firekickers, Warrimoo and Bulldogs all snapping at the heels of the teams above them.
I don't see a lot of gimme games in there. It's a different story with the managerless teams at the bottom of the table but it's not as easy to keep your energy for key games as you'd think.
Not sure whether that is cause this game has been considered as complete or its just regular retirement of people. However, FC Atlantic just joined Beta and Prestige and left our competition
