I think the market is the most dangerous place to be on PPM. I recently bought a player with 610 OR who has good center qualities but kinda old at 21 years and CL 4.. Didn't want to pay 15M for him but since he was a Canadian player, the price HAD to be raised thanks to the wonderful European fellas...

You should check to see what they used in previous games to see how they'll play against you.
Yes, I like to do that before every game, but I did not really want to match his importance because it would just be a waste. The guy set his importance to very high all season long and probably won't change until his team is fully drained. Didn't expect to see an upset though, it just bugs me how some managers can't think.

You probably have something wrong clicked.
Check that play with 3 lines is No, make sure that you aren't set to follow the other team's line numbers and that you don't have any requirements for changing between periods.

Also that some of your players are not set to sit out games if they are injured with a bandage... that got me a couple times.
