I am rebuilding, just going about it a different way. I have a crapload of RFAs this season, and want to re-sign them before selling them. So for now it's just construction, then it will be a handful of players each season for the next 3-4 seasons.

I replaced my goalies last season, and have since replaced three 30 yr olds and two 29 yr olds with two 19 yr olds, a 20 yr old, and two 25 yr olds. I know the 25 yr olds aren't exactly young, but the ultimate end game is to have a team of players that will need replacing in a staggered way rather than all at once. Hoping to avoid future rebuilds and just have to deal with small seasonal tweaks.

Next step is to name Trevor Linden President of Biznows Hockey.

RFA's were my ultimate dillema. They won me games but constant high payouts made my team stagnant. When I lost my best defenseman to RFA by forgeting to pay. (had just paid 2-3 guys) I decided to sell all. I needed 99 mil for REGEN, 280 mil for arena and of course 3 more 144 mil level 15 upgrades. I am saving 3 arena upgrades till next year so I could buy players. And buying players is fun.

That's amazing hahaha! I'm shopping every day for FAs this season but still yet to fork out bargains.

This draft doesn't look too promising, my only A rated player turned into a B. There doesn't appear to be a benefit to picking 3rd as opposed to 15th and I am now considering selecting some C rated players in the hope that one of them turns out to be a secret A.

yah, I might do the same. I'll report back if any of the C's are hidden gems. Maybe we can figure out how this is going to work for the future.

I see Quintin Farrow as an A, but my scouts are terrible.

Anyone get anything good in the draft? My picks all turned out to be garbage.

According to star ratings it turns out the defenceman I drafted in the first round has qualities better suited for a goalie, the centre I drafted in the second round would be better suited as a defenceman and the 2 other scrubs are as expected not suitable for anything.

When I picked a B rated defenceman, I expected a B rated defenceman, not a goalie. That said, with a 3.5 star goalie rating, Cromwell might be worth keeping if the qualities pan out. The others are worthless.

Garbage for me. My first pick (RD rated B) was 3 stars so I pulled just to see what he looked like, and the rest, B rated LW and a C were 2 stars and below.
