Wow! Boba Fett is right. Teams without top facilities can't develop players as fast as other teams, so these players lose value each passing day (for example, my youngsters usually train 1.8 points per day on good Qs). Even a player with strong Q's will not train well on a team without top facilities and staff.

However, on the market, those players will go for huge amounts of money and they will really speed up the building of your team and infrastructure. I wasted some talent when I arrived in the game because I didn't know this... But afterwards I did exactly that... For example, one guy I sold many seasons ago right after getting him sold for 76M. He wasn't as good as your player. I could see teams spending more than 100M.

Will put him up for sale tomorrow so he will sell the Wednesday after sometime around 12:30. Will see his scouted Q's tomorrow. Trained at 1.1 for me last night.

Good idea! He’s gonna go for a lot. With his avg Q, he must be almost perfect. Right at the start of the season really increases his value too. I think Samuel is right, probably over 100 mil. Players like him don’t come around often.

Makes me wish I was rich. But I'm just a pretender. I have the infrastructures, but not the money. I won't be able to get him, but someone will get a gem. And he will be amazing for our national teams.

Holy **** that player is way too good! That brings me back to the very first draft where I picked up Ducharme (99/99/99/92 center Qs)... Then they nerfed it and I never got anything close to that level of awesome again

Scouted Q's 92-82-97-99-99-94-99 Overall 95. Thinking of listing him at 10 Million to start. Not sure if that is right.

Yeah you can do that. If he was to sell for less than that, it would be a disaster. It won't be a problem. It might even bring attention to his value. I'm sure people will bid massively on him.

Oof, this loss hurts. Hit the right tactics, better players, much better goalie, home game, handily won the shots faceoffs and possession; yet I get shut-out.

Yeah, I was surprised myself, I wanted to tactic match but after coming in the game again late, and having to get used to the chemistry v tactics (when I last played tactics were all that mattered), I decided to just go with the tactic that had been getting me results all the while, BoP.

Away too, which was another surprise, I thought I'd be able to play you hard, but also only pegged myself for an 8th place finish at best, we'll see how that turns out.

I'm sure you'll destroy me come the rematch.

Question though, I found my original tactic sheet from 10 years ago when PPM was in it's infancy, and it seems to have the 'correct' matchups, but confuses me as to how some play out.

The first three all make perfect sense:
Nrm > Def
Def > Off
BoP > Nrm

These next three though, don't.
Off > AF
CA > BoP
AF > CA

I would have assumed CA beats AF, or but then the other two don't line up.

I know it's been beaten to death, just that some of the matchups just seem odd.
